ELIMINATE STORM WATER POLLUTION
The waste water from pressure washing is runoff and it contributes to storm water pollution because it contains residue toxins like oil and chemicals if you use them. Green Lake Pressure Washing captures our wash water before it gets into Our storm drain, Green Lake or Puget Sound.

FILTERING OUR WASTE WATER

Green Lake Pressure Washing uses waste water recovery systems that captures the water used for cleaning.  We then can filter the water and legally discharge into the sanitary sewer system for treatment.  Green Lake Pressure Washing has been reviewed by the King County Industrial Waste Program and has been granted authorization permits to discharge the filtered water into these sewer systems.

MINIMIZE POLLUTING CHEMICALS
The use of chemicals while cleaning can be highly damaging to our environment even biodegradable chemicals. This is why Green Lake Pressure Washing prefers to use hot water instead of cleaners and detergents.  We use only biodegradable cleaners when necessary and never allow these cleaners and Chemicals to get into our storm drains and water ways.

CONSERVE WATER
Pressure washing can use an incredible amount of water, unless you have the right equipment and know how to use it. Green Lake Pressure Washing reduces the volume of water used while maintaining our high quality standards of cleaning.

OUR COMPANY VEHICLE IS POWERED BY NATURAL GAS
Green Lake Pressure Washing’s vehicle runs on compressed natural gas (CNG) -- one of the cleanest burning alternative fuels available.
Our part in being environmentally friendly starts when we leave our facility. CNG emits less smog-producing pollutants by 60-90% and greenhouse gas emissions by 30-40%.
